I was elected to the Tippecanoe County Council as the District 4 representative in 2018 and took office Jan 1, 2019. I wanted to bring my business skills, my values, and my fresh perspective to the County Council. I will work with my fellow Council members to ensure Tippecanoe County grows in a thoughtful way for all our residents. I believe in open and accountable government and I will find new ways to keep the Council as transparent and accessible as possible.
I am a business professional with over 20 years of managing experience at Hewlett Packard (HP) and Cummins Engine. My husband and I own a successful small business. I am the mother of two children in West Lafayette schools and a long-term resident of Tippecanoe County.
I value education and have 2 bachelor’s degrees and an MBA and a Master of Science in Engineering. I am a breast cancer survivor and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society. I am the president and a founding member of Greater Lafayette Indivisible, and the coordinator of the state Indivisible Team Indiana coalition.
I believe government should serve everyone and we get the best government when all citizens get involved. I’m running for office because I believe that we need to be the change we want to see in the world. I hope you will join me.
